GSMA's children's books program earns national spotlight

Posted by | 10.15.2015

The Association of Partners for Public Lands (APPL) recently featured the important work being done in the Smokies to help young people learn more about this national park through its children's book program.

In her article titled "Getting to know the Smokies through Children's Books," APPL's Amanda Keith talked with GSMA's Steve Kemp about the program's target audience is learning about this park's unique attributes through these books. (See below.)

The process of publishing a success and much-loved children's book involves expertise from children education specialists, GSMA staff and national park representatives to create engaging stories with facts about the park, Amanda writes.
